He's always been up there on my list of favourite characters, as well. He's so terribly subtle that it's easy to read both less and more into him than is actually there. The way he behaves the cause he supports are a stark contrast that I find intriguing, and often wondered about. This was the conclusion I came to, and I think it fits him like a glove, as well ;).
