It was... pretty. And man, did they overdo the colour symbolism. >.>;;;

I thought Maggie Cheung was cool, except for the bit where she killed him, then killed herself. That was just stupid. But I mean, she's like... our parents' age, maybe? She was on TV when we were little kids, and I'm guessing she has to be at /least/ around Zoe Tay's age, and probably similar level of experience too. She's cool.

The first (red and yellow for passion, lust, love, anger...) scenario made me go >.>;;; at the screen though. Whee... one-sided love, displays of martial ability, sex, jealousy, anger, the blatant usage of other people to cause anger/jealousy, angst, pain (mostly self-inflicted), the sheer banality of it...

>.>;;; Very... human nature-ish, huh?

And although I'm criticising it, I actually liked the movie. :P One and a half hours of nothing aside.

So how was it?

But they made Zhang Zhiyi the useless sidekick who is only there to whine and get killed. And for the sex. Ack. >_>
